Consultant: Exhibition, Interpretive and Spatial design
Specialities
I specialize in exhibition and spatial design by balancing design and curatorial elements for effective engagement. The emphasis is on innovative communication: balancing academic, education and entertainment in an interpretative matrix. With a focus on research and narrative development we can take a project from concept through to successful completion.
Within the MLC structure I manage the interpretive process; of which concept design, management of staff, budgets, documentation, production, co-ordination and inspection occur. In this role, MLC has designed 44 significant exhibitions for national and international clients. Some outstanding project examples to date are the Shoah (Holocaust) Candelabra for the Sydney Jewish Museum; a children's museum Rivertales for the Singapore History Museum and the world blockbuster exhibition, Lord of the Rings-The Exhibition for Te Papa Museum, New Zealand & New Line Cinema.
